EXPERIENCE
Studies in Politics, Philosophy and Journalism at Munich's Ludwig Maximilian University. Studies in Film and Television Drama at the HFF Television and Film College in Munich, Germany. Camera assistant on documentary, advertizing and musical clip productions. Cameraman on features, documentary films and shorts. Gained general studio experience. Teacher at Mogadishu University, Somalia. Conception and direction of a film project on development aid. Conception for a film academy under the auspices of an EU structural development project. Freelance work as author of film scripts and documentaries. Television journalist, including research, scripting, texting and direction of features, story coverage, documentaries and image films, some with storyline. Production of documentaries, features, story coverage and image films. Event management for the annual strategy conference of HypoVereinsbank Corporates & Markets. Participated in scriptwriting seminars led by Julian Friedmann, Robert McKee, Keith Cunningham and Tom Schlesinger.
